報告人簡介
Dr. Ehouarn MILLOUR is a CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) senior research engineer. He works in the planetary atmospheres team at LMD (Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique - Laboratory of Meteorology Dynamics) in Paris where are developed Global Climate Models applied to various planetary and exo-planetary atmospheres.
報告簡介
In this seminar we discuss and present the main modeling tools developed and used in our planetary atmosphere team: Global Climate Models. We emphasize to what extent general basic (physically based) "blocs" can be designed and used to model various planetary atmospheres such as those of the solar system planets: Mars, Venus, Titan, etc., for which observations (i.e. ground truth) are available, and all the lessons learned from comparisons thereto. We also discuss more generally about foreseen possible strategies to improve models, in the footsteps of what is currently being done for Earth Global Climate Models.
